Youth Ministry News

Welcome back! We hope you have had a summer of many graces!

Registration for all grades pre-K-12 is available and open now! REGISTER HERE!

There are more options for you to choose from this year:

1. Sunday morning standard catechesis, 9:45-10:45am: Kindergarten through sixth grade. Choose this if you want the classroom experience for your children you are used to. Remember that you are the most important teachers, and what we do is only to help you have good and holy conversations at home!

2. Sunday evening Suns of Encouragement (SoE) Youth Ministyr, 6:30-8:15pm: seventh through twelfth grade. This is for the youth who want more than only catechesis, but also a change to build Catholic friendships, grow in holiness of life through prayer, leadership opportunities and service to others.

3. Tuesday or Wednesday evening Catechesis of the Good Shepherd, 4:30-6:30pm: ages 3-9. Choose this if your children would benefit from a hands-on Montessori style of meditative learning. The goal if for your children to fall in love with the Lord.

4. Saturday Youth Catechesis, 6:00-6:50pm: seventh through twelfth grade. This is geared toward those youth who need to prepare for a Sacrament but would prefer only catechesis without anything else. Choose this if it will make it easier for your family to go to Mass every week and have catechesis.

St. Barnabas' name means "Son of Encouragement", and he lived up to his name on his missionary journeys with St. Paul. We are also called to be missionaries who share the Gospel or "Good News" of Jesus to the world which is so hungry for true love, joy and truth. We have the good news! May we be little reflections of God to others, or "Suns of Encouragement" in the example of our patron.

This is our name and our calling. SoE!
